Join us for great fun and fellowship at the Spring Golf Outing! Create your own twosome or foursome by inviting colleagues, clients and friends or let the Spring Golf Committee make your assignment.  

Thinking of coming in early? Frankenmuth is hosting The World Expo of Beer on May 20-21, 2022, and special room rates are available at the Bavarian Inn Lodge & Conference Center.

About The Fortress

The power of nature shaped into one of Michigan’s most beautiful golf courses. The Fortress defends itself with oversized greens and challenging bunkers. Located within walking distance of downtown Frankenmuth, The Fortress encompasses 6,800 yards of formidable play on an 18-hole, par-72 course.

Designed in 1992 by golf architect Dick Nugent, The Fortress reflects characteristics of golf's early Scottish origins. Fescue-covered mounds reveal well-guarded, sectioned greens. Bent-grass tees, greens and fairways surround 75 bunkers. Each of the huge greens average 7,500 square feet. The Fortress encompasses 6,813 yards of formidable play on an 18-hole, par 72 course.
